Profile

A trained clinician and entrepreneur, I was a contributor to the first known medical model adult day care in the State of Michigan. It blossomed into 15 years of service to thousands of people in assisted living, adult day care and in-home care environments.

When you are thrust into the role of program director, family counselor, case manager, team leader and referee in a relatively short period of time, you gain the kind of experience that makes you appreciate the needs of the most vulnerable among us.

In addition, I learned those special things needed to make care delivery the most effective and wide-ranging. It is for this reason that my approach to developing adult day services and small assisted living programs is about so much more than filling seats, beds and seeking reimbursement. It is also about innovative approaches to person-centeredness. When you visit my web home devoted to adult day services, www.adultdaycaretraining.com you will know rather quickly what I mean.
